This may already be taken care of but I thought I’d make a suggestion that the newly elected Board members be contacted asap with specific information about what you all would like for them to do and plan for. In the past, this meant the current president contacting them and coordinating all kinds of things such as adding incoming members to this discussion list, giving them clarity about what your expectations are for attendance at Board meetings at the annual conference, what is the policy for Board travel reimbursement, and more.

I am prompted to make the suggestion as a result of being asked these questions from two newly elected Board members who aren’t sure what to do next.
